Detail relating to delivery methods for our UK Trade Customers e.g. hotline/ Sameday or Next Day despatch/ Small order lead time is as follows:

Preferred Day Customers will have their orders consolidated and dispatched on their designated day(s).

Non-Preferred Day Customers- Small orders may be held on our systems for a period of up to 3 working days, or until the order reaches a minimum invoice value of £100, whichever is the sooner for the UK and Export Trade Customers.

Customers may choose to opt out of this arrangement, by agreeing to a Small Order service charge of £5.00 per invoice. Under this arrangement, orders which are under £100 in invoice value will attract the charge, but will be serviced within MDL's standard service levels. Orders which have an invoice value greater than £100 will be serviced without attracting any additional charges.

To clarify that school account will attract a postage charge of £2.95 for any orders under the invoice value of £50. The invoice value will take in to account of stock titles but not the Not Yet Published.

Sameday Despatch /  Hotline Fee

For a charge of £5.50 you can elect to by-pass the small order lead time or the preferred day consolidation and have your order processed immediately provided it is received before 12.00 noon Monday to Thursday or 11:30am on Fridays.

Next Day Despatch / Key Today Hotline Fee

For a charge of £2.50 you can elect to have a next day despatch which will by-pass the small order lead time or the preferred day consolidation.  

Hotline

A free Hotline Service is offered during the advertised Hotline periods (Academic and Christmas Periods) for orders that reach the minimum criteria of £100. All Hotline orders should be received before 12:00 noon Monday to Friday

Delivery to a non-standard address

If you request deliveries to be made to an address other than the one stated on your account application, a delivery charge of £5.00 will apply to the order, if the order is under £100 invoice value.

Please note that this charge would apply if you gave no indication that you would require delivery to other addresses on you application form and this charge is subject to change at our discretion.

MDL will deliver free of charge to either the statement address, or a single nominated delivery address as per the account set up with MDL.

De-merge

Requests to de-merge invoices are charged at £5.00 per invoice.

£11.97 anytime

£14.73 pre noon

£16.12 before 10.30am (Mon-Fri)
